The Agency says 39 projects were selected from 373 applications: 15 for creative support and 24 for presentation support. A Tokyo showcase is planned for February 27 to March 7, 2027. 2. A full-scale rescue begins for earthquake-damaged cultural properties in Kumamoto
The Agency says full-scale rescue work for cultural properties damaged by the 2026 Kumamoto earthquake began on September 1, coordinated with the Agency and the National Institutes for Cultural Heritage.
